Hi everyone,

I am Bernard, retired sometime ago. I love animals, especially cats.

I have a cat for many years now, it's very attached to me. I took it in when it was a stray kitten, and it has brightened my life a great deal ever since.

I am glad to be part of this community of cat lovers.

My cat's name is King Meow. He is so adorable. Never fails to warm my heart.

Yup, very true.

I have to feed him every day, clear his poop, entertain him, cuddle him when he needs a cuddle, bring him to the vet when he is sick, etc.

Basically, serve him paws and feet.

Guess what, I do this so willingly. He is definitely superior to me.

He used to be called Prince Meow, when he was younger.

Eversince he ascended the throne, he is King Meow.

He carried his royal title with feline dignity, grace and charm.

I am his most loyal subject.

I love my King !

Hi Bernard! I'm new here, too. I just wanted to say that my family gifted me a kitten yesterday to hopefully become friends with my 7 year old shy cat. My new kitten looks very much like your cat. I wanted to post a picture of her, but haven't figured out how to yet!

*Edited to add: Actually, I was able to make her my avatar. Her name is Olivia.

Welcome to the forum, Jacquie.

On a PC, just drag the picture into the post editor. It takes most formats, so should be ok. It's a bit more fiddly on a smartphone, whether iPhone or Android, but not too hard.

I've also removed the new member post approval spam control from your account.

Yes, she does look like my cat.

However, my cat is rather old now, not a kitten anymore. But, I love my cat very much.
